Jeddah – 16 June 2010 – In a coverage presented to the proceedings of "Leadership Workshop for Overcoming Risky Behaviors among Youths", the Saudi "Riyadh" newspaper underlined that the workshop organized by the Saudi Charity Association for AIDS patients aims to convey the message of the Association on awareness with risky behaviors that may result in infection with the AIDS virus.

Al-Youm Al-Sabea sheds light on HIV/AIDS Regional Programme in the Arab States (HARPAS) initiative on the rights of women living with HIV virus in the Arab region. According to HARPAS regional coordinator Khadija Moalla's statement to Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper, the initiative comes within the framework of efforts exerted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to realize the Millennium Developmental Goals (MDGs), including granting rights to women on equal footings with men.
